About the organization

Het doel van de Stichting A.S.C. Academy is om Amsterdamse studenten te helpen zichzelf te ontplooien door financiële ondersteuning te bieden voor bijzondere of prestigieuze studie- of onderzoeksprojecten, zowel in binnen- als buitenland. De fonds financiert projecten in de categorieën stage, studie, promotie of onderzoek. Studenten van de Universiteit van Amsterdam en de Vrije Universiteit kunnen twee keer per jaar een aanvraag indienen voor hun project. De aanvraagdeadlines zijn afgestemd op de startdata van 1 februari en 1 september. De aanvragen worden beoordeeld door de Raad van Toewijzing, bestaande uit prominente academici. De Stichting A.S.C. Academy heeft de status van Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI), wat betekent dat giften aftrekbaar zijn van het belastbaar inkomen van de donateur.
