About the organization

De doelstelling van de stichting is om een einde te maken aan slavernij in de cacaoketen. Ze ondersteunen activiteiten die bijdragen aan 100% slaafvrije chocolade. Dit omvat het vergroten van bewustzijn, het helpen van cacaoboeren bij het opbouwen en versterken van hun organisaties en gemeenschappen. De stichting financiert projecten en organisaties die bijdragen aan een waardig levensonderhoud in cacaoproducerende gemeenschappen in Ivoorkust en Ghana, systemische verandering stimuleren en de status quo uitdagen. De financiering van de stichting komt voornamelijk van een vast percentage van de jaarlijkse omzet van Tony's Chocolonely. De stichting heeft geen overheadkosten, aangezien alle bestuursleden vrijwilligers zijn en de Foundation Officer wordt betaald door Tony's Chocolonely.
