About the organization

Het doel van het museum de Fundatie is om kunst te promoten en zoveel mogelijk mensen in aanraking te brengen met kunst. Het museum heeft twee locaties in Zwolle en Heino/Wijhe en toont een breed scala aan kunstwerken, zowel nationaal als internationaal. Het museum breidt regelmatig haar collecties uit door middel van aankopen, schenkingen en langdurige bruiklenen. Het museum verbindt kunst, kunstenaars en het publiek en fungeert als een podium voor ideeën, vernieuwing en schoonheid. Ze organiseren verschillende tentoonstellingen en evenementen, zoals de FUNDATIE*fusions*, die op openbare plaatsen worden gepresenteerd en gratis toegankelijk zijn. Het museum financiert met zijn fonds voornamelijk kunstgerelateerde goede doelen en initiatieven die de promotie en toegankelijkheid van kunst bevorderen.
