About the organization

Het Bergmansfonds heeft als doel het projectmatig en financieel ondersteunen van instellingen op het gebied van gezondheidszorg en welzijn in Tilburg en omgeving. Ze willen de lichamelijke, geestelijke en sociale welzijn bevorderen. Het fonds verleent subsidies voor projecten in de zorg- en welzijnssector, gericht op kwetsbare groepen mensen in Midden-Brabant. Het liefst ondersteunen ze initiatieven die vernieuwend zijn voor de regio en/of de sector. Het fonds wil organisaties stimuleren bij het uitvoeren van deze initiatieven, waarbij de nadruk ligt op het bevorderen van veerkracht, functioneren en participatie in termen van gezondheid. Ze leggen daarbij de focus op de kracht en eigen regie van individuen.
