About the organization

Het Jeugdfonds Cultuur Breda heeft als doel om cultuurkansen te bieden aan kinderen en jongeren tussen 2 en 18 jaar oud. Het fonds richt zich op gezinnen die in de gemeente Breda wonen en niet genoeg geld hebben om lid te worden van een cultuuraanbieder. Het fonds betaalt het lesgeld en de benodigde materialen voor activiteiten zoals muziek-, dans-, schilder-, theaterschool, DJ-les, scouting en andere creatieve cursussen. Het Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Breda is er specifiek voor kinderen en jongeren die geen geld hebben om mee te doen aan sport- en cultuuractiviteiten. In Breda groeien gemiddeld 2 à 3 kinderen per klas op in gezinnen met financiële zorgen. Deze kinderen kunnen niet deelnemen aan activiteiten zoals voetbal, streetdance, judo, zwemles of muziekles. Het fonds betaalt de contributie, het lesgeld en de benodigde attributen voor deze kinderen en jongeren. Het fonds streeft ernaar om kinderen samen te laten sporten en spelen, omdat zij dit verdienen.
