Onze missie is het bevorderen van de integratie en het welzijn van mensen met een ernstige visuele beperking en het bevorderen van oogheelkundig wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Wij verstrekken financiële bijdragen aan individuen uit de doelgroep, aan organisaties die projecten uitvoeren voor de doelgroep en aan oogheelkundig wetenschappelijke onderzoekers (de laatste via UitZicht.nl)

Application process via Landelijke Stichting voor Blinden en Slechtzienden

Aanvragen indienen via https://lsbs.nl/aanvraagformulier. De behandeltermijn voor de meeste aanvragen is 6 weken. Bij aanvragen van een hoog bedrag (> € 3.000 of € 5.000) kan het tot 4 maanden duren, afhankelijk van de data van bestuursvergaderingen. De deadline voor aanvragen voor projecten in het buitenland is altijd 1 februari en wordt dan in maart/april behandeld. Nadat de aanvraag is ingediend wordt gecheckt of de aanvraag compleet is inclusief de verplichte bijlagen. Wanneer er nog vragen zijn nemen we per mail of telefonisch contact op. Afhankelijk van de hoogte van het aangevraagde bedrag volgt het besluit binnen 6 weken tot 4 maanden. De aanvragende organisatie wordt per mail bericht.

What happens once the funding is granted?

In de toezeggingsbrief die naar de organisatie wordt verstuurd staat het verloop. Over het algemeen worden toegezegde (maximale) bedragen overgemaakt nadat de organisatie akkoord is gegaan met de in de brief genoemde voorwaarden en wanneer de financiering van het voorgestelde project rond is. Na het project verwachten wij een inhoudelijk en financieel verslag.
