About the organization

Stichting ONE heeft als doel om mensen te helpen die door verschillende omstandigheden geen hulp kunnen vinden bij andere instanties en die geen familie, vrienden of kennissen hebben om hen te ondersteunen. Stichting ONE biedt een luisterend oor en bouwt een vertrouwensrelatie op om deze mensen te begeleiden naar professionele instanties. De fonds biedt ondersteuning op verschillende gebieden: 1. Sociaal-maatschappelijke ondersteuning: Het bieden van een luisterend oor, het formuleren van hulpvragen en het leggen van contact met professionele instanties. 2. Praktische ondersteuning: Het bieden van hulp bij inrichting, het zoeken naar witgoed en andere apparaten. Ook wordt er aandacht besteed aan voeding en kleding. 3. Inkomensondersteuning: Het verwijzen en begeleiden van mensen naar professionele en vrijwillige hulpverlenende instanties voor lokale en landelijke regelingen zoals subsidies, toelagen, toeslagen en kwijtscheldingen. Stichting ONE richt zich specifiek op het werkgebied van de Gemeente Hoogeveen.
