About the organization

Our work is grounded in four core beliefs, each a call to action: Protection, Restoration, Sustainable Use, and Connection. In our funding, we focus on these as four interconnected strategies. PROTECTION — Protect natural areas, as intact ecosystems store massive amounts of carbon and harbour most of the world's remaining biodiversity. RESTORATION — Give nature space to restore itself, because ecosystems rebound faster than most people realise when pressure is removed. SUSTAINABLE USE — Transform how we produce food, since harmful farming and fishing practices are currently destroying the habitats and resources they depend on. CONNECTION — Revive the connection between humans and nature, because people protect what they value.
