Local Currency Guarantee

We lend to small and socially oriented financial institutions, mostly small and medium sized microfinance institutions which, in turn, lend to micro entrepreneurs and local micro & small-medium sized enterprises. The first goal is providing affordable access to credit, which should lead to improved household income, job generation and stimulation of the local economy therewith improving the overall economic conditions and standards of living of the local populations.

We prefer those financial institutions predominantly working in rural areas and focusing on female borrowers and entrepreneurs. We finance all types of microfinance institutions but prefer the ones lending to small businesses over the ones lending to individual/micro entrepreneurs.
