Commercial IT systems come with high application costs and bureaucratic barriers, so time and money goes towards administration. FindNFund is on a mission to ensure that time and money goes towards making an impact.

Our Ambition
For Finders, we remove the barriers to submitting applications, so that searching for funding can be free, easy and accessible to everyone. For Funders, we provide a user-friendly and reliable system to distribute their resources effectively, powered by our innovatie technology.
They said it couldn't be done. So we did it.
FindNFund was born from our own frustrating experience searching for funding for a school in Rio de Janeiro. We wasted so much time searching for funding, drafting applications, making follow-up calls, and explaining everything. It led to very few results. And it certainly wasn't fun. We wanted to be able to search easily and quickly. And then submit applications, manage them, and communicate about them in a consistent way. Based on that experience, we asked the question: "Why isn't there something like booking.com for charities and foundations?" But almost everyone said that collaboration between charities and foundations couldn't be better. Or easier or faster either. We didn't need to be asked twice. So we did it.
Our evolution and beyond
2019
The idea is born
While fundraising for a school project in Brazil, Patrick and Mariëtte asked themselves: Why isn't there a platform where supply and demand can easily find each other and collaborate? Like we already see in so many other sectors. Because this could be so much smarter, more transparent and more accessible. The seed for FindNFund was planted.
2020
The concept takes shape
Mariëtte and Patrick have hundreds of conversations with initiative founders, foundations, industry organizations, governments and entrepreneurs. The market research reveals where the real pain points are and what a solution should look like. We build a first prototype and work out screens and process flows.
2021
From idea to organization
The concept becomes a serious venture. In Stichting Adhartas and CTO Marc Broers, we find partners who share our conviction: that philanthropy can be smarter, simpler and far more accessible. Together, we shape FindNFund further.
2022
We start building
With our own team and our first office, FindNFund becomes reality. In one year, we develop an MVP, a beta version and version 1.0. With over 100 hours of testing with organizations from the sector, we keep iterating and refining until we have a version we're ready to launch.
2023
FindNFund launches
September 2023 marks the moment: FindNFund launches as one central place for Finders and Funders. What was fragmented becomes accessible, so organizations finally know where to start. A new chapter in philanthropy begins.
2024
The foundation takes shape
More and more foundations and initiatives join. Criteria become clearer, processes become easier and collaboration emerges. The contours of a shared infrastructure become visible.

The movement accelerates
FindNFund is the place where social initiatives and foundations actually find each other. We make searching, applying and collaborating simpler, so organizations can focus their time on impact, not bureaucracy.
